A network of scientists

Collaborating with renowned academics, NAOS has created a unique network of expertise.

N

NAOS’ goal is to bring together the best researchers in each of their specialties.
By sharing the importance of its mission
and the ecobiological approach, NAOS brings to life a global network of academics with whom innovative solutions can be freely
be explored.

The creation of an active network
of researchers allows NAOS to quickly adapt
its research programs and to benefit from
the most up-to-date equipment.

NAOS’ scientific committee is integrated into the company’s governance system.

In May 2016, Jean-Noël Thorel set up NAOS’ ILS (Institute of Life Science) to anchor
the company’s capacity for innovation
by strengthening ties with associated high-level researchers.

Upstream from NAOS, NAOS’ ILS invests
in large-scale research projects that target ecobiology aime at applying
research to the Human Care domain (Heart, Body and Mind).

A long-term scientific partnership with Professor Miroslav Radman and the MedILS Foundation.

Miroslav Radman

NAOS has developed particularly close ties with Professor Miroslav Radman. The French-Croatian professor is a cellular biologist
who studied at Harvard and is a member of
the Académie des Sciences. He is the founder
of the Mediterranean Institute for Life Sciences (MedILS).

A large part of his scientific career has been dedicated to studying the repair mechanism
of DNA. Miroslav Radman is considered to be one of the best genetic biologists in the world by the scientific community and his work has most recently contributed to the discovery
of the secrets of longevity.

He and Jean-Noël Thorel share the same passion for human biology and concepts
of evolution. Today, this relationship has been solidified through a partnership between NAOS and the MedILS with regard to cutaneous ageing.
